In a world saturated with stories of suffering, it is easy to become overwhelmed, indifferent, or to wonder where God is in the midst of it all. In this message, we explore the story of Hagar in Genesis 16 and 21, a woman who was overlooked, mistreated, and forgotten by others, yet deeply seen by God. Together, we discover that God's compassion is wider than our categories, deeper than our pain, and ultimately revealed in Jesus Christ. As we learn to receive God's compassion for ourselves, we are also invited to become wide-eyed disciples who see and love the people the world too often overlooks.
