Welcome to our webpage! Strathcona Baptist Church is an historic
church in an exciting part of Edmonton. We are a few minutes away
from The University of Alberta, and even closer to the heart of Whyte
Avenue, the centre of Edmonton's arts and entertainment district.
Although we've been around a long time, in recent years we have been
experiencing renewal in vision and outreach into our area. The
heartbeat of this renewal is love for Christ expressed through
community with one another and in outreach to the people around us. We
put a strong emphasis on home groups as small communities in which to
connect and care and live out the Christian life. We're an eclectic
mix of people with strong representations of students, seniors and
single people. As a Baptist church, we look to the Bible as our guide
for faith and life; we are self-governing, but affiliated with The
